Selected for Kyoto Prefecture’s FY2026 “Sangaku-Ko no Mori” Promotion Project

LEP Inc. is pleased to announce that it has been selected for Kyoto Prefecture’s FY2026 “Sangaku-Ko no Mori” (Industry-Academia-Government Forest) Promotion Project (Commercialization Promotion Course), administered by the Kyoto Industrial Support Organization 21.

This subsidy program supports research, development, and commercialization through industry-academia-government collaboration between small and medium-sized enterprises in Kyoto Prefecture and universities and research institutions. LEP was selected for its theme, “A Commercialization Project to Create a Kyoto-Born, Decarbonized Nightscape Using Electricity-Free Self-Luminous Plants,” in collaboration with Osaka University and the Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST).

Through this project, we will leverage our technology for plants that emit their own light without electricity to advance the commercialization of a Kyoto-born, decarbonized nightscape. We look forward to your support for our challenge to realize our vision of “a society in harmony with nature, colored by glowing plants.”
